Institut Sultan Iskandar is honored to announce that it has been chosen as the delivery partner by C40 for the Urban Climate Resilience Programme.
ISI will undertake the Community Assessment task to measure the resilience of the community of PPR Beringin and Kampung Pasir, Kuala Lumpur towards climate change impacts, specifically flooding and heatwave.
ISI will work together with DBKL, distinguished UTM’s experts and UTM Centre for Community and Industry Network (UTM CCIN).
We are immensely proud of this achievement and view it as a testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainability and capacity building in urban environments.

C40 is a global network of nearly 100 mayors of the world’s leading cities that are united in action to confront the climate crisis. Mayors of C40 cities are committed to using an inclusive, science-based and collaborative approach to cut their fair share of emissions in half by 2030, help the world limit global heating to 1.5°C, and build healthy, equitable and resilient communities. Kuala Lumpur is a member of the C40 cities since the year 2016.
